Profit First prices above apply to standard banks. Bank with Relay and you'll pay less — you'll see your exact price once you tell us your bank.

Your QuickBooks Online subscription — the Simple Start plan, about $38/month — is separate from our fee. It's set by QuickBooks, so it can change over time. You can pay QuickBooks directly, or we can add it to your bill.
Your one-time setup cost
This depends on your bank — you'll tell us which one you use when you get started.
- The $0.25 per transaction build charge applies to everyone — only the $100/year fee changes based on your bank.
- Bank with Relay and the $100/year fee is waived.
- Because it's charged per transaction, your exact setup total depends on how many transactions you have — we'll confirm the final number once your setup is complete.
- Not banking with Relay yet? No problem — you can switch after onboarding and pick up the discount then.
- A $50 refundable deposit holds your onboarding call — credited to your first month if you bank with Relay, or applied to your setup cost otherwise.
A quick note on QuickBooks: we've found it's much easier — and cleaner — to start you in a fresh QuickBooks Online account, and we handle that setup for you. It's the smoothest way to get accurate books from day one.

- We don't file taxes (your reports stay CPA-ready) or run payroll (we'll point you to Gusto)
